The Governors of St. Edward’s seek a candidate for the post of EYFS Leader. This candidate must be committed to the Catholic ethos of the school and have a strong desire to continue to raise achievement.  The post is central to the continuing development of our school and as such requires a high level of enthusiasm and motivation ensuring that pupils develop sound foundations on which to build their education and have a wide curriculum knowledge plus the ability to work as part of the Senior Leadership contributing to the strategic development of the school.

The successful applicant should have:
the ability to embrace the shared vision and mission of the school.
a readiness to take on the responsibilities of a leader and all that leadership entails.
A proven aptitude to being an excellent classroom practitioner with a firm commitment to ensure pupil progress
successfully led in a Core Subject area or have held equivalent responsibility.
evidence to show a firm commitment to ensuring their area of responsibility had a high profile within  school (s)..
the competency to analyse data, in order to show progress to the Diocese, Local Authority and other outside agencies.
the capacity to work as part of a team dedicated to school improvement.
an ability to unite, enthuse and motivate all staff members, pupils etc.
the dedication to pursue of Excellence.
a strong desire to maintain and further develop links with others.
