Calverton Primary School is looking for a Classroom Practitioner to work in our expanding Autustic Resource Provision for September 2018.
36 hours per week - term time only
We are looking to appoint a full-time HLTA for September 2018. We are expanding our existing provision to 3 classes and need a talented HLTA to work alongside our experienced team. ASD qualifications are not essential, as we are happy to support a HLTA who has had experience working with Autistic spectrum children.
Our School is on an exciting journey. We were deemed GOOD by OFSTED in July 2017 and are working our way to being outstanding.
We are a large and improving primary school with over 400 pupils on roll. We are located in the Custom House area of London Borough of Newham, close to the DLR – a vibrant, inner city borough just 25 minutes from the centre of London, within an ethnically diverse local community.
As we achieve amazing results for our ASD children we are expanding the number of places in our specialist provision and will therefore need additional support to work with our Resource Provision Manager and our specialist ASD teacher. Our Resource Provision children are challenging but incredibly rewarding to work with.
In return for your commitment and enthusiasm, we can offer the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of children, leaders, teachers , teaching assistants, governors as well as a supportive wider community. This is an exciting time to be joining our school and full support will be given to enable everyone to become outstanding teachers and leaders. We would very much like enthusiatic individuals to join us on this journey.
- Closing Date: 18/06/2018 9am
