Family Support Worker (Best Start in Life Early Years Practitioner)

Salary Scale S01 (£28,356 - £30,108)
52 Weeks - 36 hours per week

Manor Park Community Children’s Centre is looking for a dynamic and effective Family Support Worker. We offer Early Help to families with children from birth to five across the Manor Park and Little Ilford neighbourhoods of Newham.

You will be based at Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s Centre, which is rated Outstanding by Ofsted (2018) and is a National Teaching School.

• Experienced in working closely with families?
• Committed to building on family and community strengths?
• An experienced family support worker, a social worker, or someone with an early years background and looking to develop your skills?

Ofsted (2018) reported that Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s Centre ensures that “vulnerable families are well supported, and that the right level of support is provided in a timely manner, for example through effective ‘early help’ procedures and partnerships with external agencies.”
